What is the best country to study abroad for a high school student during the Summer?
What is the best countries to study abroad for a high school student during the summer? Question Details: Please Share any input reguarding past experiences in a perticular country or countries and information about people, food and environment. Im a person very flexible and will eat anything put before me. I'd like better to have at least a few lessons, if not extensive on the language of that country and culture. Thank you very much!
I studied abroad (year after high school) in Germany (now) in Poland. Germany is very westernized. Most countries of Western Europe are very American and the food is quite similar to the United States. Loved it in Germany when I was there, but the Area was, people were very cold. It is a Beautiful country, however. The German language is not easy, but almost everyone knows English. It is also very close to a number of different countries, if you wanted to travel a little. Poland is very different. I ate pig blood, a few days (which is quite normal here). People here are very nice, but the inhabitants of Warsaw does not smile much. There were many problems in Poland and Germany (former) Soviet Union and many people have the mentality victims are a little bit. But people in general for a good party or a pleasant walk. Poland sincerely liked better than Germany, but where you go depends on what you are interested in. I have traveled to other countries (France, England, Ireland, Hungary, Czech Republic, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, etc.), but failed both a vision of people. Switzerland and Austria are similar to Germany. Czech Republic is similar to Poland. England is actually in English.
