What are the stages of a company to Claim legal ownership of the work performed by contractors is the name?
If a small business hires an independent contractor or another company to work for them, what steps companies should take to ensure that the finished product is legally owned by the company and the entities or persons used to create this product? It is essential to have an intellectual Property agreement before work begins. My opinion is that, failing the contractor obtains the rights to work, regardless of their payment for work. Whether or not this is true, makes sense to have to remove all doubts. Using search Terms such as "agreement contract developer of intellectual property" (even if the work or the product you are talking about is not a computer code, because this industry uses a Lot).
